Mimi Frenette, MA

Master Coach

Mimi Frenette is a skilled leader with over two decades of experience in the field of individual and organizational development. She leads consulting and training projects for Six Seconds as well as the EQ Coach training program.

Years of international competition as a skier and former member of the U.S. Canoe and Kayak Team have given Mimi a unique perspective on teamwork, discipline, and how to succeed under pressure; a perspective that has helped raise performance with clients such as American Express, Bank of America, BMW, Nissan, Nestle-Purina, The Southern Ute Tribe, Colorado Department of Education, U.S. Postal Service, and The Colorado Trust.

Mimi designed a global leadership development curriculum with a customized 360-degree feedback process for Allyn International Services, Inc. and implemented the program in Belfort, France, Prague, Czech Republic and several sites in the U.S. The program is now an integral part of the company worldwide. She leads the management training for their corporate retreat annually and is currently training managers within the company to be internal coaches.

Mimi brings internal and external experience as a consultant. She founded a non-profit educational program in Durango, CO and served as the Executive Director for ten years before establishing her own practice. That program received numerous awards from the community, state, and Governor of Colorado for its value to the community. She serves on the boards of several organizations and is the author of five publications including the EQ Action Log.

Mimi's natural curiosity and ability to make assessments and then convey her perception is coupled with an interactive approach that encourages full engagement. Recognized for her trust-building style, her programs are designed and delivered with a focus on self-awareness and increased interpersonal skills.

Her ability to create rich learning environments and her interest in fostering people's innate styles gives clients an opportunity for increased effectiveness.

Mimi has a master's degree in Community Leadership with a concentration on Adult Education and has earned the Master Certified Coach (MCC) designation through the International Coach Federation.
